91³Ô¹Ï Orientation hosts two major programs to prepare you for your Titan Experience:ÌýNew Titan Orientation andÌýParent & Supporter Orientation.

Mission

The purpose of 91³Ô¹Ï Orientation is to provide new students and their parents and supporters with the tools, resources, and connections necessary for a successful academic, cultural, and social transition into 91³Ô¹Ï. Through this mission, 91³Ô¹Ï Orientation seeks to contribute to student persistence by supporting new students in building a holistic foundation for their first year at 91³Ô¹Ï, encompassing connections to each other, campus resources, and the Titan Experience.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be exposed to student involvement opportunities and begin to connect their interests to potential involvements.

Ìý

Students will feel a sense of belonging in the 91³Ô¹Ï community, be confident about their college choice, and feel excited for their first year at 91³Ô¹Ï to begin.

Students will either make new and meaningful connections while attending in-person orientation and understand what opportunities are available to continue to meet other students while on campus. If completing online orientation, students will understand what opportunities will be available to them to meet other students once they arrive on campus.

Students will learn about academic tips and strategies for success relating to study habits, academic resources, building relationships with professors, and more.

New Titan Orientation

orientation students

All new students areÌýrequired to attend New Titan Orientation. There are two ways to fulfill this requirement: In-Person Orientation or Online Orientation.

Pre-Orientation

Prior to registering for the main Orientation, all students should complete Pre-Orientation on Canvas. Pre-Orientation is a simple Canvas module that will prepare students for Orientation. Students will receive access via email to Pre-Orientation in April.

In-Person Orientation

  • First-Time First-Year Students
    • In-Person Orientation is a one-day session where you’ll meet other new students, hear from campus resources and attend an Academic Advising & Registration Workshop.
    • Note: In-person orientation registration is open until June 6th. After June 6th, hybrid orientation will be the remaining available option.
  • Transfer Students
    • In-Person Orientation is a one-day session where you’ll meet other new students, hear from campus resources and attend a College Welcome.
    • Note: In-person orientation registration is open until June 6th. After June 6th, hybrid orientation will be the remaining available option.

Hybrid Orientation

  • First-Time First-Year Students
    • Hybrid Orientation includes an online self-paced module introducing you to 91³Ô¹Ï and what to expect as a new Titan. While the module is completed online, you are still required to come to campus in the afternoon for your in-person Academic Advising & Registration Workshop.
  • Transfer Students
    • Hybrid Orientation includes an online self-paced module introducing you to 91³Ô¹Ï and what to expect as a new Titan. While the module is completed online, you are still required to come to campus in the afternoon for your in-person College Welcome.

NOTE: Orientation is separate from any other module or event put on by your academic college. All messages and requirements about Orientation will be sent from orientation@fullerton.edu . Only completing your academic college’s online module or only attending your academic college’s event will not fully satisfy the Orientation requirement.
